Teufelsberg: A Cold War abandoned listening station built on the rubble of WW2 Berlin
I always love doing model shoots and today I had the pleasure of photographing Rhiannon. We went through quite a range of styles, but these shots with their attitude and Rhiannon sporting a cool ‘rock chick’ look really caught my eye.
I spent a few hours of my Sunday morning in the city of Vicenza. Some of the local residents sporting their Sunday best were leaving the various Churches dotted around the city which really attracted my attention in contrast to the street life going on around them. A few hours of photography can give you such a rewarding insight into other cultures.
A walk around the Free State of Christiania soon reveals an absolute wealth of photography opportunities. The area is a green and car-free neighbourhood in Copenhagen, known for its free alternative way of life. Christiania was established in 1971 and is a mix of houses, workshops, art galleries, music venues and open park land set around a lake.
China has always had a strong draw for me. So much colour and culture – it really is a treat to photograph. I had the good fortune to live in Beijing for a short while and naturally had to capture it. A complete melting pot of tradition and the communist revolution of 1949 and now embracing the modern world of consumerism at breakneck speed.
