A simply divine Wedding. The happy couple chose Blakelands in Staffordshire as their perfect Wedding Venue – it’s a stunning place to capture. Hannah had picked some amazing details for the day with vibrant colours, stunning decorations and the biggest collection of shoes I’ve ever seen at a Wedding!
The Wedding Ceremony was held in the gardens of the Hotel where the lovely couple were married under a sweet ceremonial band stand. The wedding style was relaxed and this was reflected in the group photos which were fun and creative. After the Wedding Breakfast we utilised the grounds of Blakelands for some stunning portrait work.
As evening came, more guests arrived for an awesome live band where Hannah and Vinny danced the night away. A fun, sophisticated, yet beautiful wedding in every way.

I had a fun week in April photographing the south coast. I was trying to capture a minimal coastal aesthetic in black & white. It’s all too tempting to point the lens towards the sea, but the places themselves are sometimes full of interest.
I spent a few hours of my Sunday morning in the city of Vicenza. Some of the local residents sporting their Sunday best were leaving the various Churches dotted around the city which really attracted my attention in contrast to the street life going on around them. A few hours of photography can give you such a rewarding insight into other cultures.
I love Italy, just love it! I took a trip around The Verona and Lake Garda area in late Spring. Sadly, it was a pretty wet month and the clouds never really lifted to reveal the picture postcard clarity of the Lake itself. Verona as a city is an awesome place to spend a good […]
A walk around the Free State of Christiania soon reveals an absolute wealth of photography opportunities. The area is a green and car-free neighbourhood in Copenhagen, known for its free alternative way of life. Christiania was established in 1971 and is a mix of houses, workshops, art galleries, music venues and open park land set around a lake.
I adore Copenhagen with it’s modern architecture and vibrant arty backstreets.
Iceland set in the North Atlantic conjures up many images for visitors. There is something about the volcanic landscape and surreal light that is magic for landscape photographers. Add to this the quirky and small capital city of Reykjavik and you have a varied and vibrant holiday destination.
Venice is a photographer’s paradise with vibrant colour and stunning architecture. This was my second visit to the city and we chose to go in mid-December. The city with low winter light was sublime.
